MODEL 6004R HOTLINK H.264 VIDEO ENCODER, COMPACT/RUGGED
Delta’s Model 6004R HOTLinkTM Video Encoder provides for the transmission of video generated by sensors utilizing the HOTLinkTM high speed serial protocol. The 6004R is a rugged, compact unit that is specifically designed for operation in the harshest environments, especially small platforms. The unit features Delta’s standards-compliant H.264 video compression, transport stream multiplexing, and telemetry system friendly PCM encoding.
Utilizing H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC) encoding, the 6004R provides flexibility for optimizing video performance for any given bit rate. User-configurable parameters permit the user to adjust the video quality in accordance with mission requirements.
The 6004R is built around an advanced, high-speed, multi-media processor working with a fully optimized codec. Delta’s technology has been integrated, tested, and flown in numerous applications with many airborne platforms and is compatible with standards-compliant decoders, including several Delta products.
The 6004R is easily configured via an RS-232 serial connection or Ethernet.
