Delta Digital Video’s Simulation Application architecture demonstrates how the VSC/900 and SSC/924 products support advanced flight simulation and pilot training systems. Designed for accuracy and compatibility, this system architecture ensures that head-up display (HUD) data is precisely rendered for both operator viewing and training assessment.
A graphics processor outputs mission simulation data over DVI, VGA, or SDI to the VSC/900, a video scan converter that transforms these signals into the appropriate format for display systems. In parallel, the SSC/924 Stroke-Only Converter receives X/Y and Z/Z-RGB inputs from the simulated HUD environment, converting stroke video into a format compatible with standard displays.
This configuration enables seamless visual alignment between HUD overlay data and full-motion video simulation feeds, which is essential for pilot readiness, training realism, and mission rehearsal.
