Delta Digital Video’s Model 7820R Video Encoder is specifically designed for harsh airborne environments. Model 7820R uses the super-efficient H.265 encoding algorithm to provide improved quality on constrained datalinks. The unit compresses standard definition or high definition full motion video, multiplexing it with compressed audio, synchronous and asynchronous metadata, and system information in compliance with Motion Imagery Standards Board (MISB) recommendations. Support for composite video and H.264 compression allows for integration with legacy infrastructures and provides a migration path to SDI High Definition video and H.265 / HEVC compression.
